Seven of the Oxford United Academy sides enjoyed a fantastic experience this week when they travelled to take on Chelsea in the various age groups.
“We took seven age-group sides down to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground to take on one of the biggest clubs in Europe" Academy Manager Dan Harris told us.
"It is part of our commitment to stretch and develop our young men, and opportunities for our players to test themselves against clubs of the calibre of Chelsea are invaluable.
"All the young U’s conducted themselves with great maturity and performed at a very high level with the highlight being the U15s side who secured a well deserved victory over their London counterparts.
"Our thanks to Chelsea for their help and a huge well done to all the players and staff who did Oxford United proud."
