Oxford United’s Matchday hospitality is changing for the new season with the launch of the new 1893 Club
Following meetings with the members of the Manor and Maurice Evans Lounges on the first floor at the Kassam Stadium, the two lounges will merge and now be based in the Quadrangle (the current match-day restaurant). This change comes after feedback on the current lounges throughout the season and from seeing the positive reaction when the lounges were amalgamated for a short period.
This new area will become The 1893 Club to mark our 125th anniversary this year.
The move offers more space for members to bring guests to matches. In recent seasons we have been limited to an additional 11 guests in total as we had 189 members and only 200 spaces. The move means that there is now no such limit on the number of people in the room, allowing members to bring guests along to share the day.
One of the benefits has always been reserved parking and we are delighted to say that this will continue for seasonal holders, one space per two memberships, and on a first come, first served basis for new members, although due to space we are not able to offer this reserved parking for matchday guests. Lounge members who had a parking space this season will inherit the same space (unless otherwise stated) when they renew.
After listening to feedback we have also reduced the price for 1893 Club members.

Members receive branded passes to allow access to the room where they are greeted by Oxford legends Steve Basham, Jeremy Charles and their Guests of Honour for the game, with the usual question and answer sessions. Once the final whistle blows the room will be opened up to all corporate members (box holders and guests on level 1) to enjoy the Man of the Match presentation together.

Lounge members have until Friday 15th June to renew their season ticket seats before they are released for general sale.
