The GHM Player of the Month for August, as voted for by Oxford United fans on the official web site, is popular Brazilian left-back Ricardinho.
Ricardinho made his debut in United's 3-0 home win over Portsmouth on 12th August and immediately impressed with his excellent defensive display, aligned with some good forward running. Since his debut he has only missed Oxford's Checkatrade Trophy win at Stevenage with a slight knock.
The popular Brazilian is a deserved winner of the August award, narrowly beating closest challenger Jack Payne to the title.
