Get Set for Military Day at OUFC

Join us on Saturday as the U's take on Rotherham

19 October 2017

Oxford United’s home game against Rotherham on Saturday will see us once again honour the work of our armed forces with Military Day.

Military Day has grown each time and this year will be a fantastic event with lots of displays and activities planned all around the ground.

There will be vehicles, including tanks and helicopters, there will be displays from all the armed services and the recruitment team will be on hand to chat about opportunities for anyone considering their next career move.

Ahead of kick-off we will have the Waterloo Band providing music, members of the Coldstream Guards and Chelsea Pensioners, a Guard of Honour, and (weather permitting) a fly past and spectacular way for the matchball to arrive…

Book tickets for the game at and by calling 01865 337533

There will be a collection at the turnstile for SSAFA, the UK’s Military Charity. Please give generously.

SSAFA provides lifelong support for all serving personnel and their families, and veterans and their families. So, if you’ve ever served in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army or the Royal Air Force, they're there for you and your family when you need help, for life. That’s for both Regulars and Reserves.
