Oxford United WFC can confirm that the club has not, at this stage, applied for a WSL licence for the next two seasons.
November was the first round of the application process and there will be a subsequent opportunity in March to reconsider our position.
We are committed to investing in and developing Oxford United WFC but we are awaiting further information on the composition and structure of the competition.
The club will use the next few months to assess the business model of WSL going forward to ensure that we secure the best long term future for Oxford United WFC.
