Young U's defender earns more international recognition
Oxford United defender Canice Carroll has been called up for the Republic of Ireland under 18 squad to play two friendlies against Netherlands and Germany in November.
Canice is a regular in the under 19 squad and will link up with the under 18s for a mini tournament in Salou, Spain from November 11th – 13th.
Ireland play the Netherlands on Friday 11th and then Germany on Sunday 13th.
Canice will be part of the Oxford United under 18 squad as they welcome Bristol Rovers to Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road ground on Thursday evening in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm
