United striker comes out on top to win the fans' vote
Before today's game Danny Hylton was presented with the Andrew Knapton Memorial Trophy in association with Wellers for winning the supporters' Player of the Season award. In a close vote, Hylton managed to pip a number of his team mates to the accolade.Hylton, who scored United's first goal of the season against Crawley on 8th August, has gone on to notch a further 13 goals in 39 starts and 12 substitute appearances in all competitions. In addition, his non-stop running and defensive capabilities have also been on show as United have come within a whisker of automatic promotion to League One.
