Jenna Legg and Laura Rafferty join Oxford United Women on loan.
Oxford United Women are delighted to announce the signings of Jenna Legg and Laura Rafferty on loan from Chelsea.
Legg, 19, and Rafferty, 20, can both play in either defence or midfield and join the club on short-term deals from the FA Women's Super League 1 side.
Manager Les Taylor was delighted to bolster his squad ahead of a busy run of fixtures. He said: “We're delighted to have two new signings joining us on loan from Chelsea. Both Jenna and Laura have experience within an international set-up – Jenna with England under 19s and Laura with Northern Ireland's senior squad – so they will bring something with them which we feel will add to the current squad.
“It adds some more competition for places in the starting lineup and we're looking forward to getting them involved in both training and games as we look to build on this run of games and achieve the maximum points possible in the second half of the season.”
