PREVIEW as United XI take on Bath City

Oxford United’s youngsters get a chance to shine this Saturday as a United XI travel to Bath City.

The U’s will take a look at a number of players who didn’t start Tuesday night’s home game against Leicester, which means that Sam Long, James Roberts, Josh Ashby, Robbie Cundy  and Jonny Giles are joined by first year pros Jack Stevens, Miles Welch-Hayes and George Jeacock in the squad.

Canice Carroll, back from Republic of Ireland under 18 duty, Shandon Baptiste, Jordan Graham, Malachi Napa and Charlie Tuttle are also included, with Chris Allen taking charge of the side.

Former Sunderland midfielder Gary Owers  is in charge of Bath who play in the Vanarama National League South

By Car:
From the M4: 
Exit Junction 18 onto the A46 (South) signposted Bath. After 8.1 miles take the slip road to the Roundabout and turn right onto A4 signposted to Bath. Follow the London Road for 1 mile and turn left into Cleveland Place following signs marked “Through Traffic”. Follow signs for A36 East for 2.8 miles. At the Traffic Lights by McDonalds on the Lower Bristol Road, turn Left under the railway bridge into Twerton High Street. Twerton Park is 0.2 miles on your left.

Please note that there is limited on-site parking at Twerton Park and limited residential parking available locally.

By Bus: 
From Bath City Centre / Bath Spa (rail)

The main Bath bus-station is a 2 minute walk from Bath Spa rail station. Exit the station by the (main) front exit and walk straight ahead along Dorchester Street. It is also possible to catch the No.5 bus from outside Green Park station. The No 5 bus leaves every 10 minutes from Bay 16) and takes approx. 23 minutes to get to Twerton Park.

By Rail:
Twerton Park is 0.8 miles (15 minute walk) from Oldfield Park Station or 1.9 miles from Bath Spa station. Approx travel time from Bristol Temple Meads is 11 minutes, the fare is £7.30.

By Taxi:
From Bath Spa: 1.9 miles / approx. duration 10 mins / approx. fare £11
