U's Set For Solihull Starter

8 July 2016

New look U's take on the Moors

Oxford United kick off their pre-season with a friendly match away at Solihull Moors this Saturday.

The Yellows start their preparation for a new era in Sky Bet League 1 against another newly promoted side: the Moors will start their new season in the Vanarama National League under manager Marcus Bignot.

United will take their full squad, with different elevens expected in both halves of the game. New signings Simon Eastwood, Christian Ribeiro, Aaron Martin, Curtis Nelson, Dan Crowley and Wes Thomas are all expected to play a part while Joe Skarz and Ryan Taylor return to action after injuries last season.

United will be playing in last season's development kit, with the brand new home kit to be worn for the first time in Spain next week.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for over 65’s and juniors (ages 12 to 17). Children under the age of 12 are able to enter the ground for free.

Disabled fans who require wheelchair access should report to the main reception where they will be directed to the relevant area.

The main club house bar will open in the stadium throughout the day and refreshment bars are available inside the ground.
