Free Parking for Wembley

Wealdstone FC offer to Oxford United fans

Wealdstone FC, a Conference South club based in Ruislip, about seven miles from Wembley, are offering free parking to Oxford United fans for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Their clubhouse has excellent bar and catering facilities and can comfortably handle upwards of 600 supporters. The club is a five-minute walk from Ruislip tube station, which in turn is a 15-minute tube ride to Wembley Park. Trains go every 8-10 minutes. Their car park enables coaches, minibuses and cars to park in a secure environment and, being just off the main road to the Polish War Memorial junction on the A40/M40, affords a quick getaway back to the motorway network after the game. They have the added advantage that coaches will not have to negotiate the Wembley Stadium traffic or spend an hour getting out of the Wembley coach park.

They always have two real ales on tap, as well as a selection of lagers, and have excellent catering facilities. Drink pricing is as reasonable as they can allow - around £3.40 a pint. They have an advantage over pubs in that it is a family friendly environment. Children are allowed in the bars, and they have a number of adjacent football pitches which allow kids to run around.

Wealdstone have hosted Manchester City supporters numerous times, with a minimum of 600 of them using them as a base both before and after matches every time they’re at Wembley.

They do not ask for a charge to park but hope that supporters will use their facilities.

If anyone is interested in parking with them please contact James on 07979 795414 between 9am-10pm Sunday-Saturday for further details.

Please note that only pre-booked coaches mini-buses and cars will be admitted.
