8 August 2016

New look team on and off the pitch for the U's

It’s not just on the pitch that Oxford United have a new-look team this season. The U’s also have a brand new team behind the scenes as they kick off life in league One.

Joining the club are Kate Longworth who is the new Head of the Community Trust. Kate has a proven track record in the charity sector and will be familiar to many fans through her work with OxVox.  The club has also recruited Benn Brown as Financial Controller.  Benn previously worked at Orlando FC in the USA.

Kathy Winstanley joins as Operations and Office Manager, while Joanna Emmerson is the club’s new Head of Commercial. Joanna previously worked at Henley Rugby Club.

Managing Director Greig Box Turnbull, pictured centre, said

“Since joining the club I’ve sought to strengthen the team off the pitch to help take the club to the next level and I’m delighted to be able to announce these appointments. I am sure everyone will join me in giving them a warm welcome and wishing them every success in their new roles.”
