Max set to link up with the Bees
Oxford United Goalkeeper Max Crocombe has joined Barnet on loan for a month.
Max, 22, has just returned from his first senior call up to the New Zealand squad and with Liechtenstein international Benji Buchel now with the U’s and acting as cover for Sam Slocombe it allows Crocombe to join the Bees, who are without the suspended Jamie Stephens and the experienced Graham Stack, on an initial one month loan. He goes straight into their squad to face Stevenage at home tomorrow.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“We have spoken a few times about the need for Max to play games at this stage in his development and this is the ideal opportunity for him to show what he can do.”
