Brand new Player of the Month competition announced
Oxford United are pleased to announce a brand new Player of the Month competition, sponsored by GHM Communications.
Based in Oxford, GHM Communications provides leading Wifi & business telecommunications solutions that improve connectivity & customer service, and they will be sponsoring the new awards which will see one lucky fan win a Hospitality Package for a home game.
With the new deal hot off the press we need to work backwards and find the Player of the Month for August first. The opening month of the season saw the U’s kick off with a draw at home to Crawley before the astonishing 4-0 win at Brentford in the Capital One Cup. There was a draw at Luton, a fine win over Notts County and the games at Mansfield and Sheffield Wednesday before August ended with a 2-0 home win over Yeovil. Kemar Roofe and Danny Hylton led the way with their goalscoring exploits, but Liam Sercombe and Danny Rose both did well in a new-look midfield while Callum O’Dowda earned an international call up and the back five of Slocombe, Baldock, Mullins, Wright and Skarz were hugely impressive.
So who is YOUR Player of the Month for August
Let us know by 9.30 on Thursday morning and you could win two tickets for hospitality in the new matchday restaurant when United welcome Morecambe to the Kassam Stadium.

We will make the draw on Thursday morning and contact the winner immediately.
