U's defender gets international recognition once more
Oxford United’s young defender Canice Carroll has received international recognition once again, being called up to the Republic of Ireland under 17 squad for their European Championship Qualifying matches against Finland, Malta and Sweden.
The games take place between 24th and 29th September in Finland and the centre-half is looking forward to joining up with the Irish squad once again.
“ I really enjoyed being part of the squad last time and it is a fantastic experience” Canice said. “There are three games so it’s a tough schedule but I can’t wait to join up with the rest of the lads and start preparing for the matches.”
