Saturday’s home Sky Bet League 2 game against Portsmouth looks set to be the biggest crowd of the season as supporters get behind Oxford United Fans Day.
U’s fans are being encouraged to bring along friends, colleagues and family and there are great incentives to do so including priority booking for the forthcoming home game against Swindon Town. Everyone who purchases tickets in advance also goes into prize draws to win a box experience upgrade for two courtesy of club partner the New Driveway Company, plus the chance to train with the first team squad or win a Mascot Experience against Morecambe.
With Portsmouth bringing 2,500 fans and filling the sold out away end it should be quite an occasion, and to help people get to the game the OX3 and OX7 Football Special buses have been increased in size for this match.
The buses operate for all League matches from Carterton, Brize Norton, Witney, Eynsham and Botley as well as Kidlington, Summertown, Marston, Headington, the Slade respectively and have been increased in size from 49 seat coaches to 87 seat double decker buses for this Saturday’s game.
