United's Best Header of the Ball?

21 October 2015

Who could head the ball furthest, hardest or most accurately?

Next up in our Big Question series, we're looking for your views on who was the best-ever header of the ball at United.

Whether it was a defender making vital clearances or a forward with an eye for a nodded goal, it takes a certain type of courage to foolishly put your head in the way of boots, fists and other heads.

Which players have United had that fit into that category? Was it a defensive lynchpin, such as Colin Clarke, Gary Briggs or Mark Creighton, or was it a goal machine along the lines of Billy Hamilton, Paul Moody or Tommy Mooney. Or someone else entirely?

Join the debate on Twitter; give us your views - using the hashtag #OUFCBigQ - and we will publish the best responses in Saturday's match programme for the Barnet game.
