Great fun on the road with the U's
The Oxford United Family Away Day on Saturday was a massive success as youngsters got behind the U's on a truly memorable afternoon.Free transport for junior supporters was just half the story with sponsors LionTrust helping to provide goody bags for all of the young fans who went on the specially arranged coaches. There were activities and games during the journey including the chance to put forward designs for next season's kit.
This saw a fantastic range of designs and players Canice Carroll and Johnny Giles had the unenviable task of choosing a winner from the designs in our special gallery above.
In the end they chose 10-year-old Callum Childs' striped yellow shirt as the winner. Callum wins a Mascot Experience at a forthcoming game, while the two runners up both received special prizes from LionTrust.
With a 5-1 win as the centrepiece of the Family Away Day it was a day that nobody will forget.
