Young striker goes out on loan

Oxford United striker Josh Shama has joined Farnborough on loan for a month.

Josh, 20, enjoyed a successful loan at Banbury United earlier in the season and will team up with United’s youth team left-back Freddie Grant who is already at the Conference South side on a work experience deal.

Other United players who are experiencing life on loan at other clubs include John Campbell (Torquay United) and Max Crocombe (Nuneaton).

The U’s also have four more youngsters out on work experience deals which mean they can continue to play for United in Youth Team and Development side games. They are defender Robbie Cundy (Chesham), left-back Miles Welch-Hayes (Daventry), midfielder AJ George (Banbury) and goalkeeper Eddie Cavanagh (Abingdon United).
