Oxford United are pleased to announce the new matchday prices for the 2015/16 season.

The new scheme sees the removal of all booking fees and also the removal of price increases on matchdays – meaning that tickets will be a fixed, lower price whether bought in advance or on the day of the game.

There is also a new price category for under-13s (in line with the very popular #Ox4Life Season Ticket packages), meaning they can now watch matches for just £5. Under-7s continue to receive free entry when accompanied by a paying adult, and supporters with disabilities can still bring a personal assistant free of charge.

Supporters can now use a ‘Print at Home’ option – enabling online sales right up to kick off, with an electronic copy of the ticket being emailed directly to supporters.

Supporters are still able to collect their tickets on the day from the ticket office and receive their tickets in the post for advance sales (there is a flat postage fee of £1 for supporters who require their tickets in advance). 

Kevin Smith, Director of Business Operations said: 

“We felt that it was really important for us to remove booking fees from the ticket buying process.  The aim is to encourage as many fans as possible to come to games, so removing elements such as price increases and booking fees felt like the right thing to do.

“We’ve been delighted with the number of season tickets sold ahead of next season, but appreciate that not everyone can make all 23 home games. It is really important that our matchday prices offer good value for all supporters and that we ensure that the buying process is as simple as possible.

“While supporters can still buy at the ticket office in person or over the phone, our new online facility has the ability to email fans their ticket to be printed at home.”
