TEAM NEWS
George Baldock goes straight into the squad as the U's travel to Burton on Saturday. The on-loan MK Dons right back signed on loan until the end of the season yesterday and looks to be challenging Richard Brindley for a place on the right of United's defence. Brindley required stitches just above his eye after being caught by a stray elbow at Accrington on Tuesday but is fit and available, as is Johnny Mullins despite the central defender breaking his nose in a bruising affair on Tuesday.

Winger Alex MacDonald is ruled out against his former side but Will Hoskins could come into the squad after scoring on his return for the development side at Birmingham on Wednesday.

See Michael Appleton give his thoughts ahead of the game in Yellow Player, where the Preview Show features George Baldock and James Roberts, and we will also have full commentary on the whole game.

THE OPPOSITION
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has built on Gary Rowett's previous good work and his Brewers side could go top with a win on Saturday. However the Dutch manager knows that this remains a very close league table.

"It is tight and I expect it to stay tight," said the manager. "There are a lot of teams in it – Northampton are coming as well, who are on a good run. As hard as it is, we need to focus on us and think about us and our next game. The rest will take care of itself.

"We need to make sure we turn up to every match and perform every match," he said. "If we do that the result will take care of itself. There are a lot of good teams in this division and every week it's a challenge, whoever you play.

"There are another 16 matches to go – it's a long, long way to the end of the season. We hope the league stays like this, but there are a lot of matches left to play."

Striker Jacob Blyth is ruled with a thigh injury that will keep him out until April.
