Midfielder joins on loan
Oxford United have completed the signing of midfielder Giorgio Rasulo from MK Dons on loan until the end of the season.The 18-year-old England under 17 international comes from Banbury and joined MK Dons as a 13-year-old, progressing through the ranks and making his full debut in the FA Cup earlier in the season. Comfortable on the ball, Giorgio joins George Baldock on loan from the Dons and goes straight into the squad to face Mansfield Town at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Head coach Michael Appleton said:
“He’s a talented lad and can play in a few positions in midfield or as the number ten. He creates things, he has been very impressive in training this week and being a local lad he knows what the club is all about and what we are trying to build.
“We have fifteen games left and hopefully he can come in, give us something a little different to what we already have and make an impact between now and the end of the season.”
