TEAM NEWS
The U’s look to cause another League Cup upset as they travel to Brentford tonight (7.45pm). This season marks the 30th anniversary of the Yellows winning the League Cup at Wembley and having previously claimed such scalps as Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Leeds United the U’s have a great history in the competition. Last season they were one of the few clubs to win at Bristol City before pushing West Brom all the way in the next round.

Head Coach Michael Appleton will make changes to the side that opened the season with a 1-1 draw with Crawley Town at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, with Callum O’Dowda, Josh Ruffels and Patrick Hoban all pushing for a start.

There are no fresh injury worries for the U’s although youngster Freddie Grant is still troubled by a groin injury and unavailable.

See Michael Appleton and George Baldock give their thoughts ahead of the game in Yellow Player HD where we also have the whole game LIVE.

THE OPPOSITION
Brentford Head Coach Marinus Dijkhuizen must weigh up whether to give  Andre Gray a starting place. Gray declared himself ‘not mentally ready’ to start against Ipswich on Saturday with Hull City thought to have tabled a third bid for the former Luton striker, but he came off the bench to score a late equaliser

Oxford boy Josh McEachran misses out with a foot injury, the former Chelsea star likely to miss the first three months of the season.
