Mascot Packages available for a great day with the U's
At last weekend’s opening game of the season against Crawley Town, Oliver Preston was the first young Oxford United fan to enjoy the new 2015/16 mascot package, which includes hospitality in the new matchday restaurant.
Oliver enjoyed a stadium tour with the hospitality guests when he arrived, which included a visit to the home dressing room and dugouts. He kept his energy levels up with a meal in the matchday restaurant with his mum and dad, before going to the Players’ Lounge for photos and autographs with the players. Following some further fun in the restaurant, Oliver made his way down to the pitch to warm up near to the first team and have his photo taken with his favourite player Callum O’Dowda. Then to top it all off, his most memorable part of the day where he got to walk out of the tunnel, leading the team out onto the pitch. Following a hard fought one all draw, Oliver then had a nice bonus of meeting Man of the Match Danny Hylton, where Oliver asked Danny for some tips from a fellow striker.
Oliver’s mum Louise, commented ‘Thank you very much we had an amazing day, especially Oliver. He loved meeting all the players and says his favourite part was walking out of the tunnel with all of the players. Everyone was so friendly and we felt very welcomed. There was a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere all day. We will definitely think about going to the restaurant again in the future. We look forward to all the photos. Thank you very much for arranging it all for us.
