TEAM NEWS
Tyrone Barnett stands by for a first start for the U's after signing on loan from Peterborough on Wednesday. The former Crawley striker is likely to be a straight replacement for Will Hoskins who will be out until the new year with a groin problem.

The U's can also call on Michael Collins again after he missed the draw at Southend last weekend, while Junior Brown and Joe Riley are available after going off during that game.

See the full interview with Michael Appleton plus a great Preview Show featuring Danny Rose, Alex Jakubiak and Alasdair Lane, all in Yellow Player right now.

THE OPPOSITION
Exeter, like the U's, are still searching for their first win and Manager Paul Tisdale believes that adds extra spice to the game:

“The fact that we haven’t won a game this year yet and the fact that we’re playing a team that hasn’t won a game either makes it feel that more important" he told Exeter's official website. "It’s a very big game and three points that we both desperately need and want. We’re certainly not going to give it anything less than our best.

“I’m hoping that our best will be better than it was last week in the first half against Mansfield.  We’ve got plenty to prove.”

“They need the points and Michael will work out the best way he feels that he can get the best out of his team,” he continued. “Neither of us will be settled and neither of us will have settled on our best team yet, because how can we have done with only two draws out of six?  We are both going to be searching around for some better performances.”
