Youth team ready for FA Youth Cup
Oxford United’s under 18 side have been drawn at home to Bristol City in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.Chris Allen’s side enjoyed a fine FA Cup run last season, including a win over Swansea City away, and will take on the Robins at Didcot Town’s Draycott Engineering Loop Meadow Stadium on Tuesday 4th November 2014, kick-off 7.30 pm.
Chris told us:
“We have been doing OK in the league and the FA Youth Cup is a great competition that everyone looks forward to. It’s going to be a hard game butit gives us the chance of a little bit of a cup upset and I know the lads are really looking forward to it.
Admission will be just £5 for adults and £3 for over 65s and under 18s so come along and get behind Oxford United’s young stars.
The under 18s look to continue their five game unbeaten run as they travel to Newport County tomorrow in the Football League Youth Alliance.
