Fans tournament to be held before Wycombe Wanderers game
The popular annual OxVox 6-a-side tournament returns this November and once again it will be raising funds for the Yellow Army.The event will take place on Saturday 1 November between 9am-midday at the Oxford Acadamy astro pitches in Littlemore. Entry is £75 for a squad of up to 10 players and all the profits will be donated to the Yellow Army. Each team will play a minimum of 3 matches and each game last 14 minutes. After the tournament all the players will be invited to attend a reception at the Kassam Stadium at 13:00 ahead of Oxford United’s match against Wycombe Wanderers.
Players will get a chance to mingle with club CEO Mark Ashton in the Quadrangle Suite before being joined by a club legend. The winners of the tournament will be presented with their trophy on the pitch at half time.
After the U’s match against Wycombe the squads will be invited to return to the Quadrangle Suite to meet United’s Man of the Match
