FREE tickets as the U's invite fans to return for AFC Wimbledon game
There is a fantastic new offer for Oxford United fans who had a season ticket last year but didn’t renew this time around.
Those supporters are being offered a FREE ticket to watch United at home to AFC Wimbledon on 22nd November.
Fans will be receiving an email today or, if they didn’t include their email address in their application, a letter through the post in the next few days offering them a free ticket for the Wimbledon match. All they have to do is contact the ticket office before the day of the match to book their free seat.
Chief Executive Mark Ashton said:
“I know that deciding not to renew a season ticket at your football club is a big decision and one that I am sure was not taken lightly. I also understand that it has been far from an easy time to be a U’s fan.
“Since we came in to Oxford United in July, Darryl Eales and I have been overwhelmed by the goodwill and support for the club. We know there is a lot of work to do both on and off the field, but we are committed to doing the right thing for the future of Oxford United.
“In the short time we’ve been at the club we’ve reached out to supporters to engage in constructive dialogue and have received lots of helpful feedback. We are working hard to action these improvements to make an afternoon supporting your team a more enjoyable experience.
“We still have lots to do and this is very much a case of ‘work in progress’ however we are inviting these fans as a thank you for their support.”
