United help raise funds for Royal British Legion

Oxford United are helping to raise funds for the Royal British Legion by auctioning the special ‘Poppy’ shirts that the players wore in their FA Cup win at Grimsby.

A proud red poppy was  shown on the front of the shirts for that gameand there is now one day left to bid for  the shirt of teenage striker James Roberts who scored two goals on his debut.

The shirt is currently on offer on ebay HERE

The large adult away shirt has 'ROBERTS 31' on the back as well as the official SkyBet Football League badges and the exclusive "Football Remembers 1914-2014" Poppy Emblem on the front.

The lucky winning bidder will have the opportunity to get this shirt personalised and signed by James.
