Pair team up to raise money for the Oxford Children's Hospital
Oxford United are pleased to announce that they will once again be represented at the Oxford Mail OX5 Run
Local businesses were recently called upon to team up for the 2014 OX5 Run and raise money for Oxford Children’s Hospital.United will have two representatives running the five mile stretch around Blenheim Palace. Performance Analyst Dan Bond and Community Development Manager Rob Lees will be representing Oxford United on Sunday 30th March.
24 firms from across the county have signed up for the five-mile run in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. It is the highest number of runners the Oxford Children’s Hospital has seen with three weeks to go until the charity five-mile event in the grounds of Blenheim Palace.
The run, on March 30, is the hospital’s biggest annual fundraiser for the Headington hospital. Last year 959 runners crossed the finish line but so far 1,008 people have registered for this year’s run. It means 2014 is on track to be a record-breaking year.
