Join the Oxford United squad on Sunday, 3rd August.
We are pleased to announce that the Oxford United Youth and Community Trust is holding a Family Fun Day on Sunday, 3rd August from 9am - 2pm at the team's training ground at the Oxford Sports & Social Club on Roman Way.The Fun Day is an annual event and it is a chance celebrate the start of the new season with a pig roast, laser gaming, crazy golf, inflatable slides, bouncy castles, and a variety of stalls. You will also get the opportunity to get involved in training from Oxford United FA qualified coaches first thing in the morning.
The Oxford United squad will also be there joining in the fun and you can watch Gary Waddock taking an hour's training session with the 2014/15 Oxford United first team. You will also get the chance to meet the players, get autographs and get involved in a kids vs Oxford United players match.
The Fun Day will also give fans the chance to purchase the new 2014/15 home and away kits the week before the new season begins.
The day kicks off at 9am and the fun will last until 2pm. Entry is free and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Oxford United Youth & Community Trust. The day will run as followed:
9am -10am: Open training session for all ages
10am – 11am: Watch Gary Waddock take an Oxford United training session
11am – 11.30am: Kids vs Oxford United
11.30am – 12pm: Oxford Mail penalty shoot out
12pm – 2pm: Player autographs and enjoy the rest of the fun!
