Southend on TV, Hartlepool on a Friday night
Oxford United’s SkyBet league 2 game at Southend United has been chosen to be broadcast Live on Sky TV.
This means a change of date with the game at Roots Hall moving forward 24 hours to Monday 24th March, kick-off at 7.45pm
With this change in mind the club have agreed with Hartlepool United to move the home game forward from Saturday 22nd March and to try Friday night football. The game will be played at the Kassam Stadium on Friday 21st March, kick off 7.45pm
This change will allow the players extra time to recover but the club had also been considering the possibility of experimenting with Friday night football on a one-off basis this season to assess the impact on crowds.
