Donate a present for the Children's Hospital
Next Tuesday's FA Cup replay at Tranmere means that the squad's annual visit to the Oxford Children's Hospital will now take place on the afternoon of Thursday 18th December, rather than Tuesday as originally intended. The players will be visiting the wards to meet hospital staff and patients, some of whom may well be in hospital at Christmas. The players and the club have had a collection and bought games, DVDs and presents for the kids but it is the supporters who have been the stars with armfuls of presents already having been donated. We have been asking fans to bring in toys and presents to the last two home games for us to donate to the Hospital and the kids on the wards and the response has been staggering.
We already have the biggest pile of presents we have ever had, but there is still one more chance to donate. United welcome Bury to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday so why not help put a smile on someone's face this Christmas and bring in a present? We are looking for new toys, games, art sets, colouring books and puzzles. They can be for any age- please don’t wrap them so we can give the right present to the right person!
Please bring them in to club reception ahead of Saturday's game
It doesn’t matter if it is one toy or a sack full - everything you donate will help a child at Christmas.
