Great Offer for Season Ticket holders plus Quantel Bifold launch new new partnership
This Saturday sees Oxford United play their last home game before Christmas and there are two fantastic offers available as the U’s welcome Bury to the Kassam Stadium.
United have teamed up with new club partners the Quantel Bifold British Touring Car Championship Racing Team to give 2,000 local schoolchildren and their families the chance to watch the game for FREE. This new Community Initiative sees the club partnering for the first time with Quantel Bifold who are proudly putting the British back into Touring Car Racing.
Quantel Bifold are keen to engage in the local community and will be giving away 1,000 tickets to students, and their families, at the nearby Oxford Academy, while a further 1,000 tickets will be given to the local primary schools that feed into the Oxford Academy.
The crowd will be further swelled on Saturday by an early Christmas present for Oxford United Season Ticket holders. Every fan with a season ticket can bring a guest along for FREE to this game. All they have to do is present Voucher F to the ticket office or call 01865 337533 to book the free ticket for a friend, colleague or family member.
Oxford United Chief Executive Mark Ashton said:
“We want to give something to the fans and to the local community at Christmas time and these two initiatives are a small thank you from us to people who support us.
“Season Ticket holders are a massive part of the club. Recently we did a free ticket offer to those who didn’t renew this season, and that got us thinking that we should do something for those who are here week in week out. Hopefully they can bring their family and friends and have a great day with us.
“The Oxford Academy is right on our doorstep and we want to get everyone in the Leys areas of Oxford coming along to games and supporting us every week. It is a fantastic gesture from Quantel Bifold to announce their involvement with the club by buying 2,000 tickets and giving them to local schoolchildren.
“We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and there should be anther fantastic atmosphere for the match.”
Niall McWilliams of the Oxford Academy said:
“The Oxford Academy has a long standing successful partnership with Oxford United and we are delighted and honoured to be included in this community project. We are proud to be associated with Oxford United and we appreciate their commitment to our community. Our students are already looking forward to the match and a win for the Yellows.”
