Big Kick Off draws near as United prepare for Burton
The new men at the top at Oxford United will be featuring heavily in the build up to this Saturday’s first game of the new season when the U’s welcome Burton Albion to the Kassam Stadium in Sky Bet League 2.
Chairman Darryl Eales, Chief Executive Mark Ashton and head Coach Michael Appleton are all interviewed in depth in a special 12-page supplement in Thursday’s Oxford Mail where the newspaper looks in depth at United and the season ahead.
There is also a pull-out poster of the new squad, articles with the six summer signings and a fixture guide to map out your next nine months.
The trio will then be LIVE on BBC Oxford (95.2FM) from 7pm on Thursday taking questions from fans and discussing their hopes and plans for the club and team over the 2014/15 season and beyond.
Supporters will get the chance to meet them face to face on Saturday when Mark and Darryl will be hosting a Q&A session in the Manor Bar from 1.30pm before the big kick off.
