United go into Johnstone's Paint Trophy in Round Two
United will be in the draw for Round Two of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy when it is made this Saturday.
The U’s received a bye in this week’s first round - the 16 clubs who received byes this year will automatically be included in the draw next time around - but their name will be on the cards when the draw is made live on Soccer AM at around 10.15 on Saturday morning.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is The Football League’s knockout competition for clubs in League 1 and League 2. Established in 1983/84, it is now in its 31st season. It is split into Northern and Southern Sections with the winners meeting in the final at Wembley Stadium.
