Join the Yellow Army Party
Saturday is Yellow Army Party Day and it promises to be a cracker.
Special guest United legend David Langan will present his Milk Cup and League Two winners medals to the club on the pitch before the big match against Chesterfield. Dave, who will be joined by some of his old United team mates including Alan Judge, will then be handed a cheque for more than £5,000 raised by you to help him buy a mobile home. The Yellow Army will no doubt do David proud with a rousing reception in what is bound to be an emotional moment.
Come and meet Dave and Alan for a Q&A session in the 12th man bar from 1.20pm
Dave will then join stars of the past at the Yellow Army party at the Oxford Sports and Social Club on Roman Way from 7.15pm. Alan Judge, Jeremy Charles, Peter Rhoades-Brown and club favourites Joey Beauchamp, Jamie Brooks, Anton Rogan will all be there along with current players and staff plus members of the ladies team and hundreds of fans to enjoy the Yellow Army Party in the evening. All proceeds from the event will go into a kitty for Chris Wilder to spend in the transfer market in January.
And with a disco set up for the shin-dig at the training ground after the match it will be worth the ticket price alone to watch some of the legends throwing some shapes on the dance floor. With so many people who love the U's coming together under one roof the event will celebrate the special spirit of Oxford United: past, present and future - United We Stand
Tickets for the Party will be available on the door so come along and join the fun.
