United wait on Potter

Early team news as United head for Wimbeldon

United will wait on the fitness of forward Alfie Potter before they name the side to take on Wimbledon on Saturday.

Potter has missed the last three games with a niggling hamstring injury but would be an ideal addition to the squad with Dave Kitson suspended after his red card in midweek. However Assistant Manager Mickey Lewis told Yellow Player that Alfie will only return when fully ready:

"It is still touch and go" he said on Thursday lunchtime. "He is doing well and will be back soon but with that sort of injury you don't take any risks and if he's not fully fit then he won't play. We have Johnny Mullins out, Deane Smalley a doubt, Dave Kitson suspended and Jon Meades on the long term injured list but we have a strong squad and we will go there in a positive frame of mind."

United fans are reminded that this all ticket game is SOLD OUT to away supporters.
