U's help Beachborough School for Tanzania
Oxford United will be spreading the word around the world after helping Beachborough School.
The children from Beachborough have been busily collecting football shirts to send out to Tanzania and the U's donated a squad's worth of shirts to help in orphanages and schools.
Jaqui Bursnall of Beachborough School told us:
"The shirts will be travelling 6000 miles away to the village of Iringa in the heart of Tanzania and will be given to the children in the orphanages and schools of Iringa. Thanks to the generosity of Oxford United, Beachborough have managed to collect 50 shirts, including 18 Oxford United full match kits, to send out to Tanzania, where we know they will be enjoyed!"
