Ty hoping to impress as United end pre-season fixtures
United end their pre-season fixtures with a game at Truro City this evening.
Following a 1-1 draw with Birmingham City and a 1-0 win over Coventry City United look in good shape as they approach the big kick off, with defeat at Oxford City their only loss in pre-season.
Several of the players who appeared in that game at Court Place Farm get a chance to show their true colours tonight at Treyew Road against a Truro side relegated from the Conference South last season.
Striker Tyrone Marsh and goalkeeper Max Crocombe get a chance to shine along with Callum O’Dowda, who has been in excellent form this summer. Defenders Kenzer Lee, David Lynn and Matt Bevans are joined by Josh Ruffels and fit again Josh Shama in the squad, while highly rated youngsters James Roberts, Josh Ashby, Sam Humphreys, Josh Hill, Aiden Hawtin, Marvin Ekpiteta and James Clarke are all named in the squad.
The game kicks off at 7.45pm and there will be a full report on this site straight after the game.
