Oxford have sold their additional allocation for Portsmouth away
All tickets, including the club's additional allocation of an extra 500 seats, for United's opening game of the 2013/14 season at Portsmouth on Saturday 3rd August have now been sold.There were only a few tickets remaining this morning, and they have now all been sold to ensure that there will be 2,500 United fans in attendance at Fratton Park.
Oxford United’s new marketing manager, Gerald Kelly, has commented, “Coming here and seeing the number of fans travelling to an away game is fantastic. There are not many clubs with as loyal a fan base as this; it shows the commitment and passion from the fans., which is something this club should be really proud of. This does highlight the importance of having a season ticket as we expect high demand for a number for the away games”
Please note that there will be no tickets available for sale at Fratton Park on the day of the game and supporters without tickets are advised not to travel.
Supporters lucky enough to purchase tickets are reminded that the London Road Travel Club coaches are still available. Prices are £14 for adult members, £16 for adult non-members, £12 for junior members and £14 for junior non-members. Coaches depart from the stadium at 11.15am and from the ice rink at 11.30am.
