We look forward to tonight's big game

We look ahead to tonight's big match against Burton.

Team News

United welcome James Constable back into the squad as they welcome the Brewers in League Two tonight. Constable has missed the last four matches through suspension but is fit and raring to go and replaces the ineligible Justin Richards in the United squad. Richards cannot play against the club he is on loan from with Constable likely to go straight back into the side in his place.

Lewis Montrose remains a doubt with a slight hamstring problem but Adam Chapman made his return as a sub at Fleetwood on Saturday as did striker Deane Smalley. Both are included again tonight.

The Opposition

Burton come into the game after a 1-0 home win over Barnet and will look to repeat their excellent performance against United at the Pirelli Stadium this season

“I think it was one of the season’s best performances”, Manager Gary Rowett told the Burton Mail. “We played as well as we have. The game was tight for the first 20 minutes, we scored and then the game opened up and we took our chances.”

“It’s a difficult place to go,” said Rowett. “It’s one of those places where we haven’t got an awful lot in the last few years. We’ve got to go there full of confidence with the way we’ve been getting results at home. Away games have become something of a bonus with the way we’re going at home - if we win all our home games for the rest of the season we won’t be far away.

“But the point is we’d like a run and if we keep losing away we can’t get that consistency together.”

The Brewers have slight doubts over Aaron Webster and Nathan Stanton, both of whom picked up knocks in training but are expected to play.
