We look forward to tonight's big game

We look ahead to tonight's big match against AFC Wimbledon

Team News

Following six straight defeats United look to get back to winning ways at home to Wimbledon this evening (7.45pm)

United report no new injuries following Saturday’s game at Rotherham, with Harry Worley reporting no reaction after his first appearance of the season.

United’s long injury list still sees JP Pittman (hamstring), Adam Chapman (ankle), Andy Whing (groin), Liam Davis (groin), and Michael Duberry (neck) sidelined but the biggest decision facing Manager Chris Wilder is whether to stick with Wayne Brown in goal or recall Ryan Clarke.

See Chris Wilder and Sean Rigg previewing the game in Yellow Player, now available on a 14 day FREE TRIAL. Hear the whole game live tonight…

The Opposition

It’s a big match for caretaker boss Simon Bassey with the Dons interviewing potential new managers this week and Bassey keen to take on the role permanently. His skipper Sammy Moore  believes he is the right man for the job:

“I think Bass has been first-class and you can see from our performances that we’re working for each other and working for Bass and [caretaker assistant manager] Dave Lee,” Moore told london24.com.

“Training’s been really good and I like working under Bass – he’s a good manager and hopefully he’ll get the job. He’s been at this club for a while and he knows what’s required.”

The Dons this week signed 20 year old central defender Yado Mambo on a month's loan from Charlton.
