Club statement on bus services
Oxford United can confirm that they were this afternoon informed by RH Coaches that the coach company has entered administration and will no longer be able to supply coaches to and from home games.
At the start of the season RH Coaches began running their own bus services on a matchday from six towns: Banbury, Chipping Norton, Carterton, Wantage/Didcot, Henley and Thame. They also took over the running of the buses to games from Kidlington.
These services were run independently of the club, but we appreciate that they offer an excellent way for fans to get to matches. We have worked throughout the day to try and find a viable alternative ahead of Saturday's home game against Gillingham and hope to have positive news on this front in the morning.
We will of course let supporters know as soon as possible and a further release will be made as soon as possible.
