Liam looking for return against his old club
United will wait on the fitness of Liam Davis as they welcome Northampton Town to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Davis made his comeback after a long-term groin injury against Dagenham and then started the last home game against Torquay, but has missed the last two away games with a tight hamstring. However the left back is back in full training hoping for a recall as the U's face his former club.
Tom Craddock and Deane Smalley will be missing with a rib problem and a groin injury respectively, Both Damian Batt and Michael Duberry are edging closer to making a return after injury but are not expected to be involved this weekend.
