Early team news as United open their home campaign
United look to continue their excellent start to the season as they welcome Southend United to the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm)Wins over AFC Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup and away at Bristol Rovers on Saturday have given United the ideal start and they go into their first home league game looking for revenge over a Southend side who beat them three times last season.
Manager Chris Wilder said:
"We are in good shape. It has been a good first week but the important thing is that we now have just as good a second week. Southend have had the better of us over the last few meetings but we have learned lessons and we go into the game fully prepared and looking for another win."
United report no new injuries from the weekend and should have a full squad available for the game. Full preview to follow.
