Chapman and McGinty return for final home pre-season friendly

United welcome Adam Chapman and Sean McGinty back into the squad as they welcome Cardiff City to the Kassam Stadium for the final home pre-season game of 2012.

Midfielder Chapman missed the tour of America due to visa problems but has trained hard back in the UK and looked sharp, and is likely to come straight into the side if Simon Heslop is not risked. Heslop starred in the games in America but has a sore back and  may sit out Saturday's game as a precaution.

Left-back McGinty also missed the tour but is expected to complete his loan signing today to keep him at the club until January. The Manchester United youngster played  in the earlier games against West Ham and Didcot and competes with former Cardiff defender Tony Capaldi for a starting place.

The squad returned from America in high spirits with all six strikers scoring in the games in new Hampshire, and with youngster Tyrone Marsh also scoring in the friendly at Thame last night Manager Chris Wilder has plenty of attacking options.

See Chris give his video thoughts ahead of the game in Yellow Player.

The Opposition

Cardiff City will send a full strength squad and Malky Mackay's side will be amongst the favourites for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Striker Heidar Helguson joined from Queens Park Rangers yesterday and he joins fellow new boys  Joe Lewis, Jordon Mutch, Kim Bo-Kyung and Etien Velikonja in the squad

The Bluebirds missed out on promotion in the play-offs and were desperately unlucky to lose out to Liverpool in the final of the Carling cup lasts eason.
