Oxford United means a great deal to me – it’s about more than just football, it’s about community, identity, and pride. I know how important it is for fans to feel we are being listened to, especially on issues such as ticket prices, matchday experiences, and the future direction of the Club.
If I am elected to the Fan Advisory Board, I will work to ensure that fans’ voices are heard at all levels. I bring experience in governance, a collaborative approach, and a deep love for the Club – and I will use all of this to represent you with honesty and commitment.

Ashley Gould
I was born and raised in Headington, just a stone's throw away from The Manor, and was taken to my first game by my Dad when I was very small.
I am very passionate about the Club and want it to be as successful as it can be.
I will do all I can to make sure they progress, and the fans are a massive credit to the Club.
Come On You Yellows!

Garry Allen
I believe that my passion for Oxford United Football Club would make me the ideal candidate to be on the Oxford United fan advisory board. My name is Garry Allen and I have been an avid supporter of the club for 68 years, commencing at the age of 5 years at the Headington United vs Kettering Town match. I have been present frequently at games both at home and away, and am a season ticket holder.
I believe that a thriving football community should be fostered and, to this end, I am chairman of the Oxford United Walking Football Club and also, three years ago, I founded the Tristars, an Oxford United team for people with Down syndrome. I was a runner-up for this project in the Sky Bet search for their “ real football number one” in 2023, and the video of my entry can be viewed on YouTube. It is my belief that football should be inclusive for all, regardless of ability.
I am a qualified football coach and referee. In 2023, I was voted Oxford Association Coach Of The Year for disability pathway and, in the same year, Volunteer Of The Year. I liaise closely with Oxford United In The Community. I am a life member of OxVox, so I understand the importance of putting forward the ideas of fans. I am a strong team player and believe that I can work closely with other elected members of the committee to promote the involvement of Oxford United fans. It is important to value fans and to allow them a voice in the management of the club in such issues as refreshments and ticket prices to make them affordable.
It will be a privilege for me to help put forward the ideas and comments of fans, which would improve the football experience for everyone with an interest in our great club. I am keen to contribute my time and energy towards the success of the club, but to do so, I need the vote of the “yellows”. If you have confidence in me, please vote for me; I shall not disappoint.

Having been on OUSP for the past three years, I believe I have shown that I can listen to fans and represent their views to the club. I engage with fans of all ages at matches and on social media, which helps me understand the various views and concerns of the fanbase. I am willing to challenge the club when necessary to make sure the club has fans' priorities at the forefront of their decision-making. I hope to bring a fair and sensible representation of fans’ views to the FAB.
Beyond the Club, I participate in meetings with the FSA and Her Game Too, keeping up to date with developments that may affect our fans and the Club. I am regularly on “Wasn't at the Game” on BBC Radio Oxford, where to bring a fans' perspective.
I have a particular interest in getting women's voices listened to and set up the Partnership with Her Game Too, and have organised events for our female fans.
Oxford United means more than just football to me; it means community and friendship, from catching up with friends at football to making new friends through my work with Her Game Too. There will be new challenges as the FAB gets established, and I would love to be able to represent you in this capacity.

Kelly Jones
Hi, I’m Kelly – a proud mother of four, lifelong South Oxfordshire resident, and passionate Oxford United supporter. My family are season ticket holders (you’ll find me in the East stand, lower), and what began as supporting from a distance has become a real love for the Yellows, thanks to my son's passion for the game.
I’m standing for the Fan Advisory Board because I want to be a voice for families and supporters with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I understand the challenges families face firsthand and believe that football should be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible for all. Family time is precious, and football is a powerful way to bring people together.

Sam Ganatra
Hello to all OUFC fans,
My name is Sam, some or possibly most fans I may already be familiar to you & I am here to hopefully be your voice on the new fan advisory board.
Like all fans, my passion for Oxford United started in my youth. For so long now, it’s more than just a game to me; it’s part of my DNA. From the old Division One to the conference and now back again in the second tier. Now we’re a club on the rise & with the input from the new FAB, we intend to stay here. How can we do that? By us fans having a say.
Every fan opinion matters, be it from the new generation of fans to fans who have been watching us for 50 years. With your votes, I, alongside other voted members & club executives, will work to make the club as good as it can be outside of the pitch. Hopefully, with your vote,s I can be your voice on the topics that matter to you, but also be the voice to challenge & question those topics. Your feedback will be my feedback. My aim is to make it as good as it can be for all fans.
No opinion is wrong, no question will go unnoticed, and all points will be raised because we all want the same thing. We all saw the importance of fans during lockdown. Without fans, the game isn’t the same. I want to represent to make it the best I can, not only for fans of today but to set the tone for future generations of fans. I cannot unless I have your votes & support, so please vote for me.

Susan Gibbs
I have been a passionate supporter of Oxford United for the past 25 years, first attending matches with my husband, who has proudly supported the club for over 57 years.
While I was initially sceptical, it didn’t take long for me to be swept up by the energy and emotion of matchdays. The passion, the joy, and the sense of belonging among the fans deeply moved me, and now, I share that same unwavering love for the club.
I believe it’s vital for the club to have strong, honest, and passionate voices representing the supporters. If given the opportunity, I would be honoured to play a role in giving fans a platform to be heard and to help strengthen the connection between the club and its loyal community.
Oxford United has a unique spirit, and I am proud to be part of that football family. I especially value the atmosphere at matches, listening to the crowd, seeing families, friends, and older generations come together, and witnessing the joy it brings to everyone. That sense of community is truly special to me.
As a people person, I’m committed to supporting and representing the fans in any way I can, and to helping the club continue to grow with its supporters at the heart of everything it does.
