Oxford United Women are pleased to announce the dual signing of Alice Russell for the 2023/24 campaign.
The young keeper joins from Tottenham Hotspur Women U21s and will look to gain some experience being around the First Team whilst with the U’s.
Alice knows the club well, playing once for the Yellows last year and facing them in pre-season this Summer.
Interim Manager George Anthony said
“Alice is a talented young keeper who we’re excited to help develop as a player and a person whilst she’s with us. With Shaun Green and Paris Sercombe around her we believe she’ll have two great mentors.

“I can’t wait to get started and it’s a great opportunity for me. The coaching staff and players here are great and it’s another step for me to build on. I want to learn as much as I can and take myself to the next level.
Alice will be part of the matchday squad today as the U’s host Plymouth Argyle Women at Court Place Farm in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division.
