Oxford United defender Canice Carroll has been called up for the Republic of Ireland under 19 squad.
Canice has been selected for the Republic of Ireland's Under 19 UEFA U19 European Championship Elite Round versus Slovakia, Kosovo and Portugal, taking place from March 17th – 28th inclusive.

Canice has been granted permission by the Irish FA to join the squad after today's game against Peterborough.
Gino van Kessel, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts and Shandon Baptiste are unavailable for next weekend's game at Portsmouth due to their international commitments but United will not be asking for the game to be postponed due to the call ups.
